USMA is a non-profit association operating under the direction of a volunteer board of directors. A founding principle of the organization was to provide a low-cost educational and networking opportunity for everyone involved in supply chain management for the electric utility industry.
Value – a recent review showed the USMA conference fees to be less than half of similar conferences operated by profit-driven organizations. Two and one half days of educational sessions are provided at a very low cost.
Complete package – the USMA conference delegate registration fee includes all of the educational sessions, networking events, supplier display, welcome reception, three continental breakfasts, two lunches and one dinner.
Take it home and use it – this was the original concept developed by USMA as the standard for which every presentation should be built around – give the participants valuable information that they can take home and implement for quick results.
