An Invitation from the President of USMA
 Please join me in registering for the 2013 USMA educational conference which will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on May 19-22, 2013. The Marriott Harbor Beach has been a favorite conference venue and we are happy to return.
The location plays an important role in the overall success of the conference and the Florida location should help USMA build on the nearly 500 attendees from the 2012 conference – one of our highest in attendance.
Our conference theme is "Generating Bright Ideas for Practical and Sustainable Solutions". Participant feedback from prior conferences is used to drive the program content to ensure that it is both relevant and that it provides a resource for supply chain improvement. As has been our practice at prior conferences, the content will have a focus on providing items which you can "take home and use", providing an immediate return for your participation and investment.
The USMA conference is supplier neutral, ensuring that no one sponsor or group drives the program content. The event is designed by your peers to meet your current needs. The organization is run by a board consisting of equal representation of both utilities and suppliers, ensuring a balanced yet focused educational approach.
The USMA Board and I are looking forward to seeing you in sunny Florida!
